Safeguarding

As an external speaker, I am fully committed to adhering to the safeguarding practices of the places where I am invited to work, be that a school, church, or other public environment.

I have a full and up to date DBS certificate for children, youth, and vulnerable adults up to the age of 25.

I have also completed a certified course in Safeguarding Children in Education from the Virtual College. I comply fully with Church of England guidelines on safeguarding in my role as a youth worker, and have completed all core safeguarding modules.

I am also comfortable working with students who have a range of additional needs. I have completed a course in Understanding Autism from the Open University and regularly review my sessions to ensure they cater to a variety of learning styles and accessibility requirements.
